You thought I was kidding... but I'm not. I have been collecting lovely Austen items for many months now and the time has finally come!
But wait, we have a winner of the Darcy mug!
BROOKS, Rafflecopter loves YOU! I've sent you an e-mail and I'll post this on the PPCG facebook page. Let me know where to have this pretty mug sent, 'kay?
Now, for the next item.... *roots through her massive pile of Jane goodies*
This lovely piece of Austen art from a wonderful etsy shop called Castle on the Hill (Elinore and Edward from Sense and Sensibility) all the way from England. I've already ordered and received the picture, so it will ship from the US, but when I ordered from straight from the shop, it took hardly any time at all! This is the second time I've ordered from her and she's one of my favorite etsy stores!
We've had movies, tea, a mug... and now a bit of book art! I own one of these (Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy, of course) and I love it so much I can't decide which room to put it in. Maybe I should get a few. One for each room??
All right, my dearies, enter early and often! Good luck!
a Rafflecopter giveaway
Thanks for the chance to win! Love the art...
ReplyDeleteIsn't it cute? I have the Pride and Prejudice, but I think I want Emma!
DeleteThis is too cute!!! I hope I win! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you do, too! Then you can have a house full of Austen stuff like me! LOL
DeleteI just looked at her Etsy page and I want the bookmarks!!!!! Adorable.
DeleteThe art print is lovely, Virginia. Do you have one of Anne and Wentworth as well?
ReplyDeleteIf you look on the link, she has a whole set of the prints, but they go in and out of availability. Once the Pride and Prejudice was linked on a VERY popular Pinterest board and sold out!

DeleteWonderful art thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI framed mine with a white mat and white border and it really brings out all the colors!
DeleteI'd never heard of book art like this before your recent floral example post on facebook, but I do believe I'm falling in love!
ReplyDeleteI love book art because I have so many old books that are treasures... but they don't really get seen day to day. When you scan a page and make it frame-able art, then you can enjoy them all the time!
DeleteThank you for the giveaway - I have a place already picked out for this, so here's hoping
ReplyDeleteLOL! I keep moving mine around! I put it in the kitchen, then near my desk, then in the living room. I think I need more than one!
DeleteWonderful. Thanks. saubleb(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteIsn't it pretty? Good luck!
DeleteI watched the Bollywood version of S&S recently. Quite enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen it! I should watch that next.
DeleteI don't have any art in the study. It would be perfect in there!
ReplyDeleteThese are really so much prettier in person! I think it would look nice in any room. :)
DeleteI love that page! It's so beautiful! I wonder if she does custom work...
ReplyDeleteYou know, I've only talked to her once and she responded right away (I was looking for the Pride and Prejudice that had sold out), so I think you could try and message her through the etsy shop. She seemed very nice!
DeleteWhere's the link to it? I must be blind, I can't find it.
ReplyDeleteOh, is it not up there? Let me find it!
DeleteI'd love to hang this by my book shelf, so pretty
ReplyDeleteIt's realllly lovely. Sometimes when you get the art, it's just a bit too big or too small, but these seemed to be just the right size, with the matted frame, to put anywhere.
DeleteCan tell where you picked up this mug????? I have got to have one! ;) Us non- winners still want a chance at one! lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for the win - I have no idea how to contact you with my details - my email address is meikleblog at gmail dot com
